Founded in 1981, Federal University of Technology, Akure is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the medium city of Akure (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Ondo. Officially recognized by the National Universities Commission of Nigeria, Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) is a large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational Nigerian higher education institution.
