Established in 1961, Poltava University of Economics and Trade is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Poltava (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Poltava Oblast. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Poltava University of Economics and Trade (PUET) is a small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 5,000-5,999 students) coeducational Ukrainian higher education institution.
