Established in 1977, Högskolan i Skövde (University of Skövde) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Skövde (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Vastra Gotaland County. Officially recognized by the Utbildningsdepartementet (Ministry of Education and Research), Högskolan i Skövde (HIS) is a medium-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 7,000-7,999 students) coeducational Swedish higher education institution.
