Founded in 1950, Uniwersytet Medyczny w Łodzi (Medical University of Łódź) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Lodz (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Lodz Voivodeship. Officially recognized by the Ministerstwo Zdrowia Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej (Ministry of Health of the Republic of Poland), Uniwersytet Medyczny w Łodzi (MUL) is a medium-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 8,000-8,999 students) coeducational Polish higher education institution.
