Founded in 1965, Ferris University is a private higher education institution located in the metropolis of Yokohama (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Kanagawa. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, Ferris University is a women only Japanese higher education institution.
