Savannah State University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Savannah, Georgia, United States. Founded in 1890, Savannah State University (SSU) is a coeducational institution and is officially accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
