Norfolk State University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Norfolk, Virginia, United States. Founded in 1935, Norfolk State University (NSU) is a coeducational institution and is officially accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
