Fairfield University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Fairfield, Connecticut, United States. This institution also has branch campuses in Austin, Bridgeport and Shanghai. Founded in 1942, Fairfield University (FU) is a coeducational institution officially accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education.
