Türk-Alman Üniversitesi (Turkish-German University) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large metropolis of Istanbul, Turkey. Founded in 2010, Türk-Alman Üniversitesi (TAÜ) is a coeducational institution officially recognized by the Yükseköğretim Kurulu. In the latter part of 2018, the library found its new home in the newly inaugurated faculties building, boasting a spacious 651 m² area.

The library's primary objective is to enrich its collection in alignment with the teaching and research domains of the university, aiming to augment the number of high-quality information resources available to its users. These resources are organized according to the Library of Congress classification system and are conveniently accessible through an open shelf system.

With each new addition, information sources are meticulously cataloged in the library's automation system, adhering to international standards. This allows users to seamlessly access bibliographic information, eliminating constraints of space and time.

Among the rich array of resources available are books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, electronic books, and electronic databases. The library's holdings continue to grow, bolstered by annual budget allocations, as well as contributions from esteemed organizations like DAAD and generous individuals.
