Examinations for majors at the Graduate School of Fine Arts are conducted as portfolio review and/or artistic work, and interviews.
Candidates must document their foreign language score in order to be able to register for doctorate/art proficiency programs and master's degree programs taught in foreign languages.
In order to start the Ph.D./art proficiency program, candidates must obtain at least fifty-five points from the foreign language exams organized by the Assessment, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) or an equivalent score from international foreign language exams accepted by ÖSYM.
In order to be able to register for graduate programs in which the language of instruction is a foreign language (except for foreign language programs), candidates must obtain at least sixty points from the foreign language exams organized by ÖSYM in the foreign language they will study or an equivalent score from international foreign language exams accepted as equivalent by ÖSYM.
Candidates applying to master's and doctorate degrees whose fields of discipline are foreign languages must have a score of at least eighty in the foreign language they will study or an equivalent score from international foreign language exams accepted by ÖSYM.
