Established in 1993, Neelain University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Khartoum (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). This institution also has a branch campus in Jabal Awlia. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Sudan, Neelain University (NU) is a very large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: over-50,000 students) coeducational Sudanese higher education institution officially affiliated with the Islamic religion. Neelain University (NU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor's degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
