2. ELECTRONIC LIBRARY SURPU (NPI) (containing monographs, manuals, methodological manuals, collections of scientific papers and articles, reference books, lecture courses, and scientific articles published in SRSPU (NPI)
3. PUBLICATIONS OF SCIENTISTS SURPU(NPI) (bibliographic, factographic, and full-text information about works published by scientists and staff of SRSPU (NPI)
4. RARE EDITIONS (disclosing the composition and content of the rare and valuable publications)
5. Database of periodicals
6. Library of multimedia publications (database of multimedia publications received by the library's fund, including CDs and DVDs)
7. Dissertations and abstracts of dissertations (containing information about dissertations and abstracts of dissertations received by the library since 1991)
8. Normative and technical literature (comprising information about normative and technical literature, such as GOSTs, SanPiN, SNIP, etc., available in the library's collection)

Users can access the electronic catalogs of the library through its website and computers within the library's service departments.

Beyond its role as a resource center, the library actively engages in humanitarian, educational, and cultural activities. It aims to contribute to the well-rounded development of students as citizens of Russian society, instilling deep professional skills, social awareness, and respect for spiritual values and traditions. The student town SRSPU (NPI) is a structural subdivision of the FSBEI HE SRSPU (NPI) named after M.I. Platov. It unites all student dormitories under the management of SRSPU (NPI) located in the city of Novocherkassk, Rostov Region. The dormitories are intended for temporary residence and accommodation for various categories of students:

• For nonresident students enrolled in full-time education.
• For students in correspondence courses during the period of passing exams and performing work on dissertations.
• For applicants and their parents during the period of entrance examinations.

Students in the following categories are also eligible for placement in a student hostel, subject to the availability of places:

• Trainees and students studying additional professional programs or vocational training programs enrolled in preparatory departments during their full-time studies.
• Students permanently residing in the territory of Novocherkassk.
