Established in 1930, Rostov State Medical University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Rostov-on-Don (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Rostov Oblast. This institution also has a branch campus in Novocherkassk. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Rostov State Medical University (RostGMU) is a small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 5,000-5,999 students) coeducational Russian higher education institution.
