Founded in 1992, National Research University Higher School of Economics is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Moscow (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). This institution also has branch campuses in Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Perm. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) is a very large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational Russian higher education institution. National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
