Founded in 1922, Kuban State Agricultural University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Krasnodar (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Krasnodar Krai. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Kuban State Agricultural University (KubSAU) is a large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational Russian higher education institution.
