University Overview

Founded in 1973, Altai State University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Barnaul (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Altai Krai. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Altai State University (ASU) is a medium-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 8,000-8,999 students) coeducational Russian higher education institution. Altai State University (ASU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor's degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
