South Ural State University (Южно-Уральский государственный университет) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Chelyabinsk, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia. This institution also has branch campuses in Zlatoust, Miass and Nizhnevartovsk. Founded in 1943, South Ural State University (SUSU) is a coeducational institution officially recognized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. SUSU provides courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees, including pre-bachelor's degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
