Founded in 1948, Universitatea Tehnică de Constructii Bucuresti (Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Bucharest (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministerul Educaţiei (Ministry of Education), Universitatea Tehnică de Constructii Bucuresti (UTCB) is a small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 4,000-4,999 students) coeducational Romanian higher education institution.
