Overview

Universidade do Algarve (University of Algarve) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Faro, Portugal. This institution also has a branch campus in Portimão. Established in 1979, Universidade do Algarve (UAlg) is a coeducational institution and is officially recognized by the Ministério da Ciência, Tecnologia e Ensino Superior.
