Established in 1970, Al-Quds University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Beit Hanina, al-Bireh, Hebron (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Jerusalem. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of the Palestinian Territory, Al-Quds University (QU) is a large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational Palestinian higher education institution. Al-Quds University (QU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor's degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
