Founded in 2012, Catanduanes State University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Virac (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Bicol Region. Officially recognized by the Commission on Higher Education of the Philippines, Catanduanes State University (CSU) is a medium-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 6,000-6,999 students) coeducational Philippine higher education institution.
