Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá (Technological University of Panamá) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Panama City, Panama, Panama. This institution also has branch campuses in Azuero, Bocas del Toro, Cocle, Colon, Chirqui, Chorrera and Veraguas. Founded in 1981, Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá (UTP) is a coeducational institution and is officially recognized by the Consejo Nacional de Evaluacion y Acreditacion Universitaria. UTP offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees, such as pre-bachelor's degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
