University Overview

Established in 1994, Høgskolen i Østfold (Østfold University College) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the rural setting of the large town of Halden (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Ostfold. This institution also has a branch campus in Fredrikstad. Officially recognized by the Kunnskapsdepartementet, Norge (Ministry of Education of Norway), Høgskolen i Østfold (HiØ) is a small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 4,000-4,999 students) coeducational Norwegian higher education institution.
