Established in 1969, Universidad de Monterrey (University of Monterrey) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of San Pedro Garza García (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Nuevo Leon. Officially recognized by the Secretaría de Educación Pública, Mexico (Secretariat of Public Education of Mexico), Universidad de Monterrey (UDEM) is a large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational Mexican higher education institution officially affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. Universidad de Monterrey (UDEM) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees and master's degrees in several areas of study.
