Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (Autonomous University of Nuevo León) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of San Nicolás de Los Garza, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Founded in 1933, Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL) is a coeducational institution and is officially recognized by the Secretaría de Educación Pública, Mexico.
