Founded in 1982, Universidad Madero (Madero University) is a for-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Puebla (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). This institution also has a branch campus in Tuxtepec. Officially recognized by the Secretaría de Educación Pública, Mexico (Secretariat of Public Education of Mexico), Universidad Madero (UMAD) is a very small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 1,000-1,999 students) coeducational Mexican higher education institution officially affiliated with the Christian-Protestant religion.
