Founded in 1944, Università degli Studi di Salerno (University of Salerno) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the rural setting of the large town of Fisciano (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Campania. Officially recognized by the Ministero dell'Università e della Ricerca (Ministry of University and Research), Università degli Studi di Salerno (UNISA) is a large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational Italian higher education institution. Università degli Studi di Salerno (UNISA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
