Founded in 2005, Agricultural University of Iceland is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the rural setting of the small town of Hvanneyri (population range of under 2,500 inhabitants), Western Region. This institution also has a branch campus in Reykjavík. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Innovation and Higher Education of Iceland, Agricultural University of Iceland (LBHI) is a very small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: under-250 students) coeducational Icelandic higher education institution.
