Founded in 1964, Universitas Negeri Jakarta (State University of Jakarta) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Jakarta (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Jakarta SCR. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology), Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) is a very large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
