Established in 2008, Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (Indo Global Mandiri University) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Palembang (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), South Sumatra. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology), Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM) is a small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 4,000-4,999 students) coeducational Indonesian higher education institution. Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as master's degrees in several areas of study.
