Established in 1998, Université Autonome de Port-au-Prince (Autonomous University of Port-au-Prince) is a private higher education institution located in the small city of Croix-des-Bouquets (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), West Department. This institution also has a branch campus in Hinche. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Éducation Nationale et de la Formation Professionnelle (Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training), Université Autonome de Port-au-Prince (UNAP) is a coeducational Haitian higher education institution. Université Autonome de Port-au-Prince (UNAP) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
