Founded in 2005, International Hellenic University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the metropolis of Thessaloniki (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Central Macedonia. This institution also has branch campuses in Serres, Kavala, Drama, Katerini, Edessa, Kilkis and Didymoticho. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports of Greece, International Hellenic University (IHU) is a very large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 45,000-49,999 students) coeducational Greek higher education institution. International Hellenic University (IHU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor's degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 19-year-old Greek higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic records and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
