University Overview

Established in 1837, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Athens (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Attica. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports of Greece, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UOA) is a very large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: over-50,000 students) coeducational Greek higher education institution. National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UOA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
