University Overview

Founded in 1970, Université de Rennes (University of Rennes) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Rennes (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Bretagne. This institution also has branch campuses in Lannion, St Brieuc, St Malo and Fougères. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche (Ministry of Higher Education and Research), Université de Rennes (UR) is a very large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 35,000-39,999 students) coeducational French higher education institution.
