Founded in 1976, Universidad de Granma (University of Granma) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the large city of Bayamo (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Granma. Officially recognized by the Ministerio de Educación Superior, Cuba (Ministry of Higher Education of Cuba), Universidad de Granma (UDG) is a medium-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 9,000-9,999 students) coeducational Cuban higher education institution.
