
Universidad Latina de Costa Rica (Latin University of Costa Rica) is a for-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of San Pedro, San Jose, Costa Rica. This institution also has branch campuses in Heredia, Santa Cruz, Pérez Zeledón, Grecia and Cañas. Founded in 1989, Universidad Latina de Costa Rica (ULatina) is a coeducational institution officially recognized by the Ministerio de Educación Pública. ULatina provides courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees, including pre-bachelor's degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
