Established in 1967, Universidad Mariana (Marian University) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Pasto (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Narino. Officially recognized by the Ministerio de Educación Nacional, Colombia (Ministry of National Education of Colombia), Universidad Mariana (UMARIANA) is a small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 4,000-4,999 students) coeducational Colombian higher education institution officially affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. Universidad Mariana (UMARIANA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor's degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor's degrees and master's degrees in several areas of study.
