Established in 1988, Universidad Andrés Bello (Andrés Bello University) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Santiago (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Region Metropolitana de Santiago. This institution also has a branch campus in Viña del Mar and Concepcion. Officially recognized by the Comisión Nacional de Acreditación (National Accreditation Commission), Universidad Andrés Bello (UNAB) is a very large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 45,000-49,999 students) coeducational Chilean higher education institution. Universidad Andrés Bello (UNAB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor's degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
