University Overview

Established in 1887, McMaster University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Hamilton (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Ontario. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities of Ontario, McMaster University (Mac) is a large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational Canadian higher education institution. McMaster University (Mac) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
