Founded in 1994, UC Leuven-Limburg (University Colleges Leuven-Limburg) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Heverlee (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Flemish Brabant. This institution also has branch campuses in Leuven, Diest, Hasselt, Diepenbeek and Genk. Officially recognized by the Vlaams Ministerie van Onderwijs en Vorming, België (Flemish Ministry of Education and Training of Belgium), UC Leuven-Limburg (UCLL) is a large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational Belgian higher education institution officially affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. UC Leuven-Limburg (UCLL) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor's degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation) and bachelor's degrees in several areas of study.
