Established in 1995, Haute École Charlemagne (Charlemagne University College) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium city of Liège (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Liege. This institution also has branch campuses in Huy, Verviers and Gembloux. Officially recognized by the Direction générale de l'Enseignement non obligatoire et de la Recherche scientifique, Belgique (Directorate General for Non-Compulsory Education and Scientific Research), Haute École Charlemagne (HEC) is a coeducational Belgian higher education institution. Haute École Charlemagne (HEC) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees and master's degrees in several areas of study.
