Jahangirnagar University (জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the medium city of Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Established in 1970, Jahangirnagar University (JU) is a coeducational institution and is officially recognized by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh.
