Established in 2006, Universiteti Europian i Tiranës (European University of Tirana) is a for-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Tirana (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Agjencia e Sigurimit të Cilësisë në Arsimin e Lartë (Quality Assurance Agency in Higher Education), Universiteti Europian i Tiranës (UET) is a small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 3,000-3,999 students) coeducational Albanian higher education institution. Universiteti Europian i Tiranës (UET) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
