Established in 1992, Univerzitet u Istocnom Sarajevu (University of East Sarajevo) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium town of Lukavica (population range of 2,500-9,999 inhabitants), Republika Srpska. Officially recognized by the Ministarstvo prosvjete i kulture Republike Srpske (Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Serbia), Univerzitet u Istocnom Sarajevu (UNSSA) is a large-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational Bosnian and Herzegovinian higher education institution.
