Commission for Accreditation and Academic Quality

The Comisión de Acreditación de la Calidad Académica - CACA (Commission for Accreditation and Academic Quality), is a non-profit organization in El Salvador that is dedicated to promoting and maintaining the quality of higher education in the country. Established in 2002, CACA is responsible for the accreditation of higher education institutions and programs in El Salvador. CACA is committed to ensuring that all higher education institutions and programs in El Salvador meet the highest standards of quality and excellence. To achieve this, CACA evaluates the academic programs of higher education institutions and assesses their compliance with the standards set by the Ministry of Education. Comisión de Acreditación de la Calidad Académica also provides technical assistance to institutions and programs in order to help them meet the standards. The Commission for Accreditation and Academic Quality is an important part of the higher education system in El Salvador. It plays a key role in ensuring that students receive a quality education and that institutions are held to the highest standards. CACA also works to ensure that the higher education system in El Salvador is transparent and accountable. The Comisión de Acreditación de la Calidad Académica is a member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE). This network is made up of over 200 organizations from around the world that are dedicated to promoting and maintaining the quality of higher education. Through its membership in INQAAHE, CACA is able to share best practices and collaborate with other organizations in order to further its mission.
