Founded in 1994, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Murmansk Oblast is a government ministry responsible for education and scientific research in the Murmansk Oblast, a federal subject of the Russian Federation located in the northwest of Russia. The ministry oversees the development and implementation of educational policies and programs, as well as the allocation of resources and funding for schools, universities and research institutions within the Murmansk Oblast. Its main goal is to ensure that residents of the Murmansk Oblast have access to high-quality education and that the region is competitive in terms of scientific research and innovation.
