The Association of Arab Universities (AArU) is a non-governmental organization that represents over 280 Arab universities and higher education institutions from 22 Arab countries. The organization was founded in 1964 and is based in Amman, Jordan.
The mission of the AArU is to enhance cooperation and communication among its member institutions and to promote the development of higher education and scientific research in the Arab world.
