| Published Description: | Hacia el segundo semestre de 1996, CORPOSUCRE Ltda., miembro fundador de la Corporación Universitaria de Sucre inicia sus actividades. El otorgamiento de la Personería Jurídica, se concedió con la aprobación de los programas profesionales: de Psicología y Fisioterapia. El 1 de septiembre de 2011 se firmó convenio con la Fundación Tecnológica Antonio de Arévalo – TECNAR, con el fin de ampliar y fortalecer la cobertura académica. A partir del año 2012, el Ministerio de Educación Nacional, aprueba una serie de registros calificados lo cual posibilita el crecimiento de la oferta académica institucional. El 18 de febrero de 2013, se presenta al MEN reforma estatutaria en donde se solicita el cambio de denominación de la IES. A la fecha actual, la institución ha seguido trabajando arduamente en el mejoramiento continuo de sus procesos académicos y administrativos, con miras al cumplimiento y culminación de los objetivos trazados en su plan estratégico 2015-2019. |
