Overview

Established in 1961, the Austrian Exchange Service (Österreichischer Austauschdienst GmbH, OeAD) is an organization that manages a wide range of scholarship programmes for students, postgraduates and scientists and the EU programme for Lifelong Learning in Austria. The OeAD is in charge of the on-site counseling and support of scholarship students at Austrian universities. It also provides information and advice for study and research in Austria and abroad and is responsible for the promotion of Austria as an attractive location for study and research.
